Video: Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx Calls African-American Security Guard the N-Word During 1997 Performance

An anonymous MetalSucks reader has sent us video of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx using a racial slur against an African-American security guard during the band’s performance at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, on October 28, 1997. 

The incident has been documented before: in 2000, Sixx pleaded no contest to three misdemeanor charges as a result of both kicking the security guard in question, John Allen, and encouraging fans in the crowd to attack him. He was given a 30-day suspended jail sentence and put on probation. Allen reached a confidential settlement with Mötley Crüe that same year.
