Listen: Poppy Covers t.A.T.u.’s “All the Things She Said”

Crossover metal star Poppy has released a cover of t.A.T.u.’s 2002 hit, “All the Things She Said.” The track has been a staple of Poppy’s recent live shows, and comes along with a music video.

I’m not familiar with the original, but I’m a fan of Poppy — as you all know — and I’m a fan of this cover, which mixes the dance pop of her past with a heavier vibe representative of her more recent shift into metal.

Poppy had a summer tour scheduled with Deftones and Gojira, but that’s been moved to 2021 because of the you-know-what. Her spring European tour was moved to the fall for the same reason, but the chances those rescheduled dates happen as planned seems unlikely.
