Korn and Faith No More Call off Their Summer Tour
Korn and Faith No More have finally cancelled — not simply postponed!!! — their summer co-headline tour, which also would have included Helmet, Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway, ’68, and Spotlights.
Here’s the statement from the bands:
“The Faith No More & Korn Summer Tour will unfortunately no longer be taking place. It is with heavy hearts that we came to this decision out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our fans, crew, and fellow artists.
“Ticket holders will be emailed directly with their refund options, including a full refund, or you can request a 150% credit at Live Nation venues + they will donate the number of tickets you originally purchased to healthcare workers on the front lines. For more details, please visit livenation.com/refund.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
So it doesn’t appear that the bands are planning to reschedule this for sometime in 2021 or 2022 or whenever we get concerts back. Oh well.
We conclude with the obligatory part of the post where I point out that this tour was scheduled to begin on August 7… well over a month after the Mötley Crüe/ Def Leppard/ Poison/ etc. tour is slated to commence. And that tour still hasn’t been called off. I cannot imagine what the goddamn delay is.
