Thy Will Be Done Have One “Last Ghost to Kill”

It’s been a minute since we last heard from Thy Will Be Done. The Rhode Island wrecking crew hasn’t released new music since their 2012 EP, Temple, and the last time we had occasion to write about them was in 2015, when their drummer, Jay Waterman, tragically died.

But now, at last, the band has returned with a new song, “Last Ghost to Kill.” They haven’t reinvented the wheel here, but then, they didn’t need to — Thy Will Be Done have always written excellent tunes that were both catchy and aggro. If you were ever a fan of their groove-laden NWOAHM stylings, then you will dig “Last Ghost to Kill,” guaranteed. If you don’t know the band: “Last Ghost to Kill” is like Hatebreed channeling Slayer and Pantera. If that doesn’t sound appealing to you, I don’t know why you’re even reading MetalSucks.
