Trash Talk Announce New EP, Release “Something Wicked” Single

Thrash-punk stalwarts Trash Talk have been reliably consistent over the years, cranking out moshable anthem after moshable anthem, their live shows the stuff of legends. But it’s been four years since they released any new music — the Tangle EP, which came in 2016 — and six since they released a proper album, No Peace.

That draught ends today with “Something Wicked,” the first song from the band’s newly announced EP, Squalor, which is due on June 5. It’s not even one-and-a-half minutes long, but Trash Talk make every one of the song’s 88 seconds count, delivering a gut-punch of thrashy intensity along with the in-your-face, punk-based vocal delivery that’s been a hallmark of this band since day one. In other words, it’s a Trash Talk song and we love it!
