Nonpoint Release Acoustic Version of “Alive and Kicking”

“Alive and Kicking,” from Nonpoint’s 2005 album To the Pain, remains the band’s best song, in my not-so-humble opinion. So I was simultaneously stoked and cynical about their new acoustic take on the track, which the group recorded under quarantine.

And y’know what? It’s pretty good! The guitar lick that gets played under the chorus of the original is still my favorite part of the song, and so I can’t help but miss it here… but this version definitely stands on its own merits.
