MetalSucks’ Least-Sucky Songs of the Week
Congratulations on being smart enough not to inject yourself with bleach. As a reward, enjoy these songs, which definitely do NOT suck.
At the Movies (King Diamond, Soilwork, Hammerfall, Mercenary, etc.) – “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion)”
This supergroup, which is devoted entirely to covering music from iconic films of the ’80s, made us remember what a crush we used to have on Ally Sheedy. Good times.
Jinjer/ Suicide Silence – “Territorial Pissings” (Nirvana Cover)
Take that, Puddle of Mudd!
Killswitch Engage – “Hollow Convictions”
Dunno why this didn’t make the final cut for Atonement, but we’re glad we get to hear it now!
Metallica – “Blackened 2020”
Actually, this might suck. But it’s Metallica, so we’re all gonna listen to it obsessively 300 times to be sure.
Greg Puciato – “Deep Set”
Dillinger Escape Plan? We don’t need no stinkin’ Dillinger Escape Plan!
