Listen to a Clip of a New Deftones Song

So Deftones drummer Abe Cunningham recently played a brief snippet of one of the songs on the band’s new album during an Instagram live chat, and then the clever folks at YouTube channel DeftonesLive enhanced that clip a little, so that it at least kinda-sorta sounds like something. It’s not much, but given that it’s already been four years since the release of the band’s last outing, Gore, I assume Deftones fans are desperate enough to wanna hear it.

Which they can do below. The new Deftones album is currently being mixed, but we have no idea when it will actually come out, and I wouldn’t be shocked if they sat on it until there’s a coronavirus vaccine (hopefully) next year and they can give it a proper release supported by touring and all of that good stuff.
