Exclusive Track Premiere: Winterfylleth’s “Misdeeds of Faith”

One week from tomorrow, the world will be gifted not just one of 2020’s best black metal albums, but likely one of 2020’s best metal albums, full stop: Winterfylleth‘s The Reckoning Dawn. While the band released an excellent acoustic/folk album, The Hallowing of Heirdom, in 2018, this is their first full-length metal album since 2014’s The Divination of Antiquity. It was worth the wait. The Reckoning Dawn is the UK quintet’s strongest outing yet, taking Winterfylleth’s expansive, primeval, and ceremonial form of black metal to new heights of expertly-composed wickedness.

Needless to say, MetalSucks jumped at the chance to premiere “Misdeeds of Faith,” the opening track from The Reckoning Dawn. It’s occultist black metal at its most elemental and unrepressed, and it’s sure to leave you salivating for more.
