Right Now: Metallica’s Lars Ulrich is Taking Part in a Livestream Chat
Metallica’s South American tour and U.S. festival run have become the latest victims of COVID-19, but that doesn’t mean the band is keeping quiet. The band has been posting a number of classic concert videos of late, and now drummer Lars Ulrich is hoisting himself back into the public eye with a livestream chat.
The chat is taking place right now — Tuesday, April 28, at 1pm EDT / 10am PDT — and is being hosted by Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, a company that provides high-end software for customer relationship management (shit ain’t cheap! they’ve pitched MetalSucks a few times over the years and we simply laughed). If you’re wondering what Salesforce and Metallica have to do with each other, well, so am I, but a teaser promises that Metallica’s All Within My Hands charity foundation will be a main topic of discussion, so don’t be a hater. They also plan to discuss how they’re staying connected during the pandemic, so maybe be a little bit of a hater of the subject matter gets too shill-y for Salesforce.
