Plini Has Released Some New Music, “birds / surfers”
Anyone experiencing severe anxiety as a result of being cooped up in the house for weeks with no end in sight could benefit from listening to “birds / surfers,” the latest entry from instrumental guitar savant Plini.
Plini describes them as “interludes” as opposed to full, proper songs, explaining they were “inspired by two unrelated-but-similar-happy-accident photographs where an arrangement of birds in the sky and surfers in the sea looked like sheet music,” and they’re both sublimely soothing even if the grand total running time is only about three-and-a-half minutes.
Shit, even if you’re not experiencing anxiety you should give ’em a listen; what else are you doing right now?
