Sepultura’s Derrick Green Shares Playlist of His Favorite Metal Vocalists

Sepultura frontman Derrick Green has followed in the footsteps of his bandmate, guitarist Andreas Kisser, and made a special quarantine playlist for Metal Hammer. Just as Kisser’s playlist was focused on his favorite metal guitar solos, so Green’s playlist is centered around the theme of his favorite metal vocalists.

And why, pray tell, does Green favor these particular singers and screamers? Well…

“Their lyrical content, and the ability to create a unique persona with their voices has always made me gravitate towards these artists. 

“The believability factor has always been strong with all of these singers. I always felt that this is an extremely important element for a vocalist.”
