Video: Vince Neil Preparing for Big Mötley Crüe Summer Tour That Will No Longer Happen
For more than three months now, we’ve been hearing about how hard Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil has been working out in order to get into tippy-top shape for the band’s big summer reunion stadium tour with Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett, and Tik Tok Tuk Tuk or whatever the fuck that last band is called. A Cameo video Neil made in February, in which he is visibly a sloppy drunken mess, suggested that this might just be hype, though. Maybe that’s why Neil’s gf, Rain Hannah, felt compelled to share this very brief video of the vocalist working out earlier this week.
And look, self-care is great, and assuming he wants to live to be old and gray, Vince Neil probably needed to get into better shape regardless of whether or not he has touring obligations. But I do not think this tour is actually gonna happen — at least, not this summer. Vince (our Vince, not the Vince we’ve been discussing thus far) has already done a good job explaining why this is the case, so I’m not gonna get into it. But Vince (Neil, not our Vince) probably has another year to keep working on himself. With that much time, he oughta be able to pull a full Kumail Nanjiani.
