Killswitch Engage’s Adam D. Hero Toy Coming Soon

Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, professionally known as “Adam D.,” will soon have a Japanese-style hero toy modeled in his image. Slated for a late 2020 release, the toy will be known as 酔 獣, which translates to “drunk beast.”

Press copy sent to MetalSucks by the toy’s manufacturer, Devils Head Productions, reads as follows:

“Rooted in the history and tradition of Japanese superheroes like Ultraman and Kamen Rider, 酔 獣 will soon take flight. This summer/fall, armed with the power of positivity, the drunk animal (or beer monster) will be unleashed on the world to take down anyone and everyone with a negative attitude.

“Look for 酔 獣 to make his debut in the later half of 2020. These toys will be made in Japan using the same soft vinyl production process as all of our other sofubi toys. Godzilla (or Gojira as they say in the native tongue) had nothing on Adam D.”

Devils Head has released a video teaser showing a production mold of Drunk Beast, which you can watch below. And while it doesn’t have any detail, the toys currently available on the company’s website certainly inspire confidence that it’s gonna be badass. Hopefully it comes with daisy duke and cape accessories!
