Video: Matt Heafy Performs Trivium’s Shogun + Knotfest Japan Sets in Full

Trivium frontman Matt Heafy took to Twitch earlier this week to perform the band’s breakthrough album, Ascendancy, in full… and, unsurprisingly, that performance proved to be very popular.

So Matt is keeping at it now, and we have two new videos for your viewing pleasure. In the first, Heafy performs Trivium’s 2008 album, Shogun, in its entirety; in the second, he plays what would have been the band’s set at the now-cancelled Knotfest Japan from start to finish. The combined running time of the two performances is roughly four hours, which seems like as fun of a way to entertain yourself while you’re stuck at home as any.

Trivium will drop a new album, What Dead Men Say, on April 24 on Roadrunner Records. You can check out the first single, “The Catastrophist,” here, and pre-order the album here.
