Watch Code Orange’s Audience-Free Record Release Show
As we reported on Friday, Code Orange aren’t letting a little thing like the mass shutdown of society to help slow the spread of a global pandemic stop them from enjoying the release of their new album, Underneath (read our review): the band played their previously-scheduled record release show at the Roxian Theatre in their hometown of Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, March 14, as scheduled, lack of an audience be damned. The gig — which featured full production despite featuring no crowd — was then live-streamed on their Twitch channel.
Whether you weren’t able to watch the show in real time or just wanna re-live the insanity, the gig is now available online for your viewing pleasure. Very much to the band’s credit, they clearly put their all into the performance, even without the energy of a crowd to feed off of.
You can watch the show below. Listen to our recent interview with drummer/vocalist Jami Morgan on The MetalSucks Podcast here.
