Video: Quarantined Italian Guitarist Plays Slayer’s “Raining Blood” on His Balcony

As you may have heard, Italians have been dealing with the fact that their entire country is on lockdown due to COVID-19 by taking to their balconies and singing to one another… which is just about the most Italian thing I’ve ever heard (I mean that as a compliment).

So, naturally, one metalhead took shit to the next level — Enrico Monti, guitarist for the death metal band Skulld, who plugged in his axe and blasted Slayer’s “Raining Blood” from his balcony, as seen in the video below:

No word on whether or not the awesome power of Slayer’s most famous riff managed to single-handedly wipe out the coronavirus in the immediate area. Still, you should show your appreciation for Monti’s efforts by checking out some Skulld’s music below. It’s the least you can do.
