MetalSucks’ Least-Sucky Songs of the Week
You made it through the week without contracting the coronavirus! Congratulations!!! Celebrate by blasting these five songs, which were definitely the least-sucky ones we’ve heard since Monday.
Aborted – “Gloom and the Art of Tribulation”
Another emotional power ballad from Belgium’s most sensitive band.
Heaven Shall Burn – “Eradicate”
Not only does the song kick ass, but the Wakaliwood-produced video may be the best of 2020.
Greg Puciato – “Fire for Water”
The former Dillinger Escape Plan goes solo (mostly): Puciato played all the instruments on this track, save for the drums, which were played by his ex-DEP bandmate, drummer Chris Pennie.
Testament – “Children of the Next Level”
The song is about the infamous mass-suicide of the Heaven’s Gate cult in 1997. Best enjoyed with apple sauce.
Ulcerate – “Stare Into Death and Be Still”
Of course, it’s impossible to actually be still while listening to this total rager.
