Slipknot: Knotfest at Sea Line-Up Announced

As previously reported, Slipknot will storm the high seas this summer for their first-ever branded cruise, which has been dubbed — what else? — Knotfest at Sea.
The line-up for the cruise has now been announced, and, unsurprisingly, it’s solid:

- Sevendust
- Skindred
- Ho99o9
- Higher Power
- Sleep Token
Additionally, the cruise will feature the following special events:
- A live Q&A with members of Slipknot
- A Sid DJ/MC set
- A Slipknot Whiskey Tasting & Discussion with Clown (limited capacity)
- A signing with Mick Thomson (limited capacity)
- A drum workshop with Jay Weinberg
- A bass clinic with VMan
- 20 years of Slipknot memorabilia showcased throughout the ship
No word on why Corey Taylor thinks he won’t be giving one of his patented readings/discussions. If I had to guess, it’d be because if there’s a limited capacity for hanging out with Clown and Mick, the same would go for anything involving the singer/philosopher/total hunk, and the stampede caused by some intimate Corey time would likely capsize the entire boat. Bummer.
The cruise will depart from Barcelona, Spain on August 10, 2020, sail to Naples, Italy, and return to Barcelona on August 14. “Rooms on this historic voyage are already on sale from KnotfestAtSea.com with flexible payment options available,” according to a press release.
