System of a Down’s Serj Tankian and John Dolmayan Team Up on Cover of David Bowie’s “Starman”
These Grey Men, the outfit helmed by System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan, have released a cover of David Bowie’s “Starman” featuring SoaD vocalist Serj Tankian. The song appear on These Grey Men’s self-titled debut album, which consists entirely of cover songs and comes out on February 28. Give it a listen below.
The group previously released a cover of Radiohead’s “Street Spirit (Fade Out)” featuring Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello.
System of a Down remain unable to see eye-to-eye on a creative direction for a new album of their own — even while three of the band’s members (minus Serj) wrote music for an entire album’s worth of songs — but have plenty of touring lined up for the summer:
