Vince Neil’s Drunken Cameo Video for Fan’s Birthday Goes Viral
Despite assurances from both Mötley Crüe manager Alan Kovacs and bassist Nikki Sixx that singer Vince Neil is working with trainers and nutritionists in anticipation of this summer’s big reunion tour, a new video suggests that Neil remains in less-than-great shape.
The video in question was purchased by a fan for $400 via the service Cameo, and was intended as a birthday gift for said fan’s brother. Neil was reportedly given the following text to read:
“Happy Birthday to Derek from Christian, Mom, Tanya, Ethan and Blake. Shout at the devil to start off this new decade and take the opportunity to kickstart your auto search and sales!! Listen to the Dr. and feelgood about the big 4-0 in 2020.”
But in the video Neil delivered, the singer appears to be a drunken mess, slurring his words so badly he appears to be saying “Dack-a-row” instead of “Derek” and “Christian Wom” instead of “Christian, Mom” (and poor Tanya gets no mention of any kind). The video has subsequently gone viral and presumably given some fans second thoughts about paying to see Mötley Crüe this summer.
