Here’s the First Poster for Bill & Ted Face the Music
Bill & Ted’s third excellent adventure, Bill & Ted Face the Music, isn’t due in theaters until August 21, but promotional efforts for the movie are already ramping up. First, Alex Winter made an appearance as Bill (alongside a plethora of other notable pop culture characters) in this past weekend’s Walmart Super Bowl commercial (skip the 00:12 mark)…
…and now the first poster for the flick has been released:
At least in terms of plot, that image doesn’t tell us anything about the movie that we didn’t already know. Still, it’s a concrete reminder that a third B&T is happening for really real, and that’s exciting. I’d also imagine the first poster being released means we’re in for a teaser or full trailer sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile, if you’ve got $8,500 dollars burning a hole in your pocket, a company called Cubicall is making a limited edition, full-size replica of the iconic phone booth from the movies… and it actually works. The downside — besides the hefty price tag and the fact that you can’t possibly have any use for a working phone booth — is that it ships flat and therefore requires assembly upon arrival. If you want one, you can pre-order it with a $100 deposit here.
