Photos: Ghost, Tribulation and All Them Witches at The SSE Arena, Wembley, London, November 22, 2019
MetalSucks contributing photographer Stewart Marsden was on hand for Ghost’s return to London on November 22, 2019, performing at the historic Wembley Arena for the very first time.
Ghost’s show was every bit the spectacle that fans have come to expect, featuring a massive stage set modeled after a church with multiple sets of stairs and risers in front of a massive, gothic mock-stained glass backdrop. Frontman Cardinal Copia, née Tobias Forge, displayed his usual wry humor, guiding the audience through a setlist that included greatest hits from the band’s catalogue such as “Cirice” and “Square Hammer” as well as several cuts from the band’s newest album, Prequelle, and both tracks from their recent 7″, Seven Inches of Satanic Panic. The 20-song set left fans leaving happy as the band heads into a down period during which they plan to write and record a new record due for release some time in 2021.
Have a look at Stewart’s photos below, including shots of both opening acts, Tribulation and All Them Witches.
