Sevendust’s Morgan Rose Offers Update on His Health
Yesterday, we learned that Sevendust have been forced to drop off of their previously scheduled U.K. tour with Alter Bridge and Shinedown because drummer Morgan Rose “is sick, in the hospital and under Doctor orders not to move or leave the country.”
Rose has now offered an update on his health directly from the hospital, where he was to undergo surgery, along with the above photo. The statement makes it clear that doctors haven’t finalized a diagnosis yet:
“Hey guys. So sorry for the delay in making a statement myself. Been a rough few days. First of all, thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers. I’m humbled by all the attention. A little uncomfortable to be be honest. Lol. I’ll be on my way into surgery any minute. Honestly I’m a little scared, but I’m ready to figure out what’s wrong. Hopefully this will give us some answers. I’m sure I’ll be out of commission for awhile after this. But someone will pass along some updates, without me knowing they’re doing it????. I love you guys so very much. (Excuse the dramatic hospital bed selfie????♂️). God bless everyone. ????????????????????????❤️❤️❤️”
Everyone at MetalSucks continues to wish Rose a speedy recovery. Hopefully what is causing his illness turns out to be no big deal.
Sevendust are still scheduled to play a trio of acoustic shows later this month. Those dates are as follows:
12.28 – Athens, GA – Georgia Theatre [TICKETS]
12.29 – Orlando, FL – House of Blues [TICKETS]
12.30 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Revolution Live [TICKETS]
