Ihsahn Releases New Song “Stridig,” Announces Telemark EP with Iron Maiden and Lenny Kravitz Covers

Ihsahn has unveiled “Stridig,” the opening track from his forthcoming five-song EP, Telemark. It’s an up-tempo number by Ihsahn standards but has every bit of his usual darkness, relying on a dissonant guitar riff, his patented, throaty roar and a full horn section accenting the rhythms. It comes along with a striking music video that looks as if it was shot in his native Norway, or at least some place similarly snowy and piney.
