Original Post:
Radio station 97.1 KXRX, which operates out of southern Washington state, is reporting that Joan Jett and The Blackhearts will open Mötley Crüe’s recently announced reunion tour, which also includes Def Leppard and Poison. The tour package will play T-Mobile Park in Seattle on September 2, 2020, with tickets going on sale this Friday, December 13, at 10am.
Interestingly, the report notes that the tour is actually a co-headliner between Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard, not a Crüe headline run as previously believed. Further, the band who closes out the show each night will vary from city to city, with Def Leppard allegedly tapped to close the Seattle gig.
If the report is accurate, we can expect to see a big announcement including all tour dates on Friday or some time before then. Stay tuned.
