Black Veil Brides Announce New Bassist, Release New Music
Black Veil Brides have apparently recruited Lonny Eagleton as their new bassist. Eagleton replaces Ashley Purdy, who split with the band last month to pursue other hair colors.
To that end, Eagleton may have gotten the job because he’s in BVB frontman Andy Biersack’s solo band… but surely having black hair that appears to have been cut and styled by a Roomba helped. I feel like Lonny and I could have a real bonding sesh over a mutual love of Blues Saraceno.
Says Lonny of his new gig:
“Thrilled to announce that I am joining Black Veil Brides as their new bassist. Having been a longtime dedicated fan of this band, I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this new era. Before I had any affiliation with the members, I used to fantasize about playing in this band, playing the music, wearing the makeup and stage outfits, so for that to now become my reality is completely surreal. It was only a couple of years ago that I was standing in the audience at their concerts, singing along, trying to catch guitar picks. To now see myself in the videos and hear myself on the recordings is a feeling I can’t even begin to explain. I look forward to this new beginning as the newest member of Black Veil Brides.”
On top of that, Black Veil Brides have released The Night, “Part One in a series of Duologies featuring brand new tracks and videos.” First up are the songs/videos “Saints of the Blood” and “The Vengeance.” You can check those out below if you want.
Black Veil Brides start a tour with In This Moment in March. Get dates and tickets here.
