Mayhem and Abbath to Headline the Ninth Annual Decibel Magazine Tour

Unsurprisingly, given the ongoing quality of Decibel the magazine, Decibel the tour has been uniformly excellent since launching in 2011. So no surprise here: the co-headliners for the ninth edition of the annual trek will be headlined by two much-beloved legends of black metal. Specifically, Mayhem and Abbath.

That alone makes the tour worth your money and time, but there will also be two support acts announced in December, and it seems safe to assume those bands will also be top-notch. The only real question is, will they also be black metal artists, or will the tour include some grind or death metal bands as well?

We’ll let you know as soon as the identities of those two additional bands are revealed. In the meantime, dates are below. Tickets go on sale at this link on Friday, November 8 at 10 AM local time.
