Kirk Hammett Reads “K Is for Kirk” From The ABCs of Metallica

Back in July, Metallica announced the impending publication of The ABCs of Metallica, an official sanctioned kids’ book created in part to benefit the band’s All Within My Hands charity organization. While we’re still about a month away from that book’s release (November 26), the band has released a new preview in the form of the below video, in which Kirk Hammett himself reads the “K Is for Kirk” chapter. The whole thing is cute enough, but the best part, by far, is the Exodus shout-out, because it means kids will have some awareness of that band. It makes me wonder if any Robert Trujillo’s previous gigs, like Suicidal Tendencies or at least Ozzy, get mentioned in there.
