Lacuna Coil Release New Song “Bad Things” Exclusively Through Amazon Music
“Bad things feel so good/ Bad things are deep inside you,” Cristina Scabbia sings on Lacuna Coil’s insanely catchy new Amazon Music exclusive, “Bad Things.” I think that’s a conflict with which most of us can probably relate. Ms. Scabbia could obviously be referring to any number of potentially damaging indulgences/ addictions, like drugs or booze or sex or even listening to music at too high of a volume. Personally, I like to think she’s talking about bacon. Mmm… bacon.
Says co-vocalist Andrea Ferro of the song:
“The spookiest time of the year is approaching, the magic night when pumpkins glow by moonlight! Halloween is known as the end of summer and the start of winter, a season associated with darkness and frigid weather. We have decided to celebrate the fact that we will be the first Italian artists to create an Amazon Original Track with an appropriately themed song called ‘Bad Things.’ The song has a unique horror vibe perfect for the last day of October, when the boundary between the living and the dead becomes blurred.”
A blurred boundary between the living and the dead? Like I said: bacon.
If you already have Amazon Prime you already have Amazon Music and you can listen to the track below. Did I mention it’s insanely catchy?
Lacuna Coil just recently released their ninth album, Black Ainmiam. Not everyone here at MetalSucks is a fan, but for whatever it’s worth, I dig it! You can get it here. The band is on tour in Europe and the UK throughout November; get dates and tickets here. Also, if you like Cristina and Andrea — and who doesn’t? — we recently showed them some YouTube fan covers. Watch their reactions/ feedback here.
