Video: NYC Tourists React to Cattle Decapitation
Two years ago we took The Black Dahlia Murder frontman Trevor Strnad into the chaotic wilds of New York City’s Times Square to play the band’s new album, Nightbringers, for unsuspecting tourists and businessfolk. Surprisingly, most of the people we played it for that day liked it! Mission failed.
When it came time to film a sequel, we asked ourselves, “Which metal band is even more brutal than The Black Dahlia Murder? Whose music will surely scare tourists back to Ohio or whence they came??” We knew we had a winner with “One Day Closer to the End of the World,” Cattle Decapitation’s latest, and we were somehow able to wrangle frontman Travis Ryan into hitting the streets with our film crew (aka the one-man powerhouse Frank Huang of Max Volume Silence) to test it out amongst the masses.
As for the results… well, you’re gonna have to watch to find out! Cattle Decapitation’s new album, Death Atlas, is available via Metal Blade Records on November 29.
