This New Abigail Williams Song Is “Ever So Bold”

Abby-Dubs fans, rejoice! The band has released “Ever So Bold,” the second single from their forthcoming album Walk Beyond the Dark (the first, in case ya missed it, was “I Will Depart”). And it’s pretty great! It’s one of those black metal songs that has all the requisite croaking and double bass drums and shit, but is oddly sad-sounding and kind of beautiful. The last ninety seconds of the song, especially, are gorgeously melancholy. There’s also a killer, fluid-sounding guitar solo. Really, the track is just an all-around winner. I don’t even love Abby-Dubs the way a lot of you do, and I would never argue that this is bad.
