Video: Slayer Wedding Mosh Pit!

MetalSucks reader Adam Schwartz married his longtime partner, Katherine P-G, on the weekend of September 21, 2019. For the most part, it was your typical wedding — the couple exchanged vows, said “I do!,” kissed, everyone cheered, and then the dancing and partying began — except Adam, being a lifelong metalhead, made one special request: SLAAAAAYYYEEEEERRRRRR!

Adam and his wife decided to close down the celebration with “Raining Blood,” and in the fan-filmed friend-filmed video below, shot by Lilah Abrams, you can see the wedding party go absolutely bananas with an impromptu mosh pit — suits, ties and dresses still on — when the DJ cranked the Slayer classic. Best of all is the horrified look on the bride’s face at the 0:18 mark after being rudely pushed out of the pit (show some respect, fellas!), but thankfully no one was hurt and the partying lasted well into the night.
