Billie Eilish Makes a Death Metal-Style Beanie Now
Add Billie Eilish to the list of pop stars who have appropriated the metal aesthetic: the 17-year-old singer is now selling a black beanie which features her name in a font that’s almost worthy of Completely Unreadable Band Logo of the Week. (It also includes the logo for Blohsh, which sounds like the name of either a super-duper-cereal European black metal band or tongue-in-cheek British tech-death band, but is, in fact, just short for “Billie Eilish.”) Eilish’s merch is already reportedly selling like gangbusters at Hot Topic, so I guess she decided to lean into it.
If for some reason you want one of these, you can pre-order ’em here for $25, which includes a digital download of Eilish’s new album, When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which I assume was christened by the same people who think magnets are a miracle. The young lady also has a buncha live dates coming up, if that’s your bag.
