Orbit Culture Channel Fear Factory on New Track “Nensha”

A press release announcing a new label deal and pending album for Orbit Culture is quick, to the point and coy: “Sweden’s ORBIT CULTURE have inked a world-wide deal with Seek and Strike. The crushing, new single and music video for ‘Nensha’ is below. Look for them on tour now across Europe with Rivers of Nihil and expect a new album in 2020! Enjoy!”

Not a lot to go on there, so what does our own ear test think about the music? Well, simply put, it slaps. The closest touchstone that comes to mind is Fear Factory, with the song’s lockstep heavy riffing, industrial overtones and mix of screamed and clean vocals. In a way, it’s Fear Factory reinterpreted through the prism of modern deathcore acts like Fit For an Autopsy or Carnifex but without any cliched deathcore tropes (only the brutality and production). I dig.
