Guitarist Mark Heylmun Returns to Suicide Silence
I know some Suicide Silence fans were concerned that Mark Heylmun’s “radical sabbatical” from the band last year was simply a precursor to the guitarist leaving the group. After all, we’ve seen plenty of sabbaticals turn into departures before. In fact, we saw it just recently with Lamb of God and Chris Adler.
But fret not, Heylmun-heads! (That’s what Mark calls his fans, right?) The band reports that Heylmun is now back in the fold. Furthermore, they’ve been working on new music, which we’ll be hearing sooner than you’d anticipate:
“Our brother Mark Heylmun is back in action & fully involved with all things Suicide Silence, including touring. Also, we’ll be debuting brand new music live in the Latin America this November! Comment below with where you’d like us to tour next!”
See? Sometimes a sabbatical is only that. Don’t be so cynical, guys. Jeez Louise.
