Veil of Maya Post New Song “Members Only”
Veil of Maya have shared a new song called “Members Only.” The track is very uncharacteristic for the band, with relatively little of their trademark electronic blips and bloops, scronky squeal riffs and bouncy grooves, opting instead for a big chorus, mostly clean vocals and a whole lot of melody. Honestly, it sounds like one of Periphery’s catchier tracks! I’m not exaggerating when I say I went back to check the video TWICE as I was preparing this post to make sure it was Veil of Maya.
The band offered on Facebook, “While we’re working on our new album, we couldn’t wait to release a brand new song for you in the meantime.” That effort is being recorded by Taylor Larson, although it’s not clear if “Members Only” is a result of those sessions or something the band had lying around that was already completed.
