Despised Icon: New Album Coming in November

This fall just got a whole lot slammier: Despised Icon, the single best French Canadian deathcore band of all time (or at least that I can think of right now… don’t @ me), have announced a November 15 release date for their new album, Purgatory.

Oh man. What do you guys think is going on with that angel? I think he musta torn his wing slammin’ in the pit, right? Mos def.

I got really excited when I saw the title of that first song, because I assumed that it was a track about someone enjoying the French dish for the final time, which would be an awesome subject for a deathcore song. Unfortunately, I’m just an idiot, and the dish takes its name from the French word meaning “to breathe,” so the track title is actually “Last Breath.” Bbbbbooorrrrr-innnnnnnng.

Expect a first single soonish. Like maybe tomorrow even? That’s just an educated guess.
