Mayhem, Not to Be Confused With Metallica, Tool, or Slipknot, Release New Song
Mayhem, who are legendary, but probably not as legendary as Slipknot and definitely not as legendary as Metallica or Tool, have released the first single from Daemon, their highly-anticipated new album (although not nearly as highly-anticipated as the new albums from Tool and Slipknot): “Worthless Abominations Destroyed.”
Guitarist Teloch, who has also played with Gorgoroth and 1349 but never Metallica, Tool, or Slipknot, says:
“After teasing you guys for over 6 months*, it’s finally time to show you what we have been up to in the studio this summer. Here’s ‘Worthless Abominations Destroyed,’ a track that was made with the intention to have this ‘all is lost and hopeless’ feeling.”
Daemon comes out October 25 on Century Media. Pre-orders are here. Unlike some bands, pre-orders probably won’t sell out. Just sayin’.
*Wow, six whole months? HA! Try thirteen years!!!
