Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters and More Back Planned Parenthood “Bans Off My Body” Campaign
With anti-abortion activists and our current administration actively seeking to turn back the clock on civil rights, Planned Parenthood has organized their “Bans Off My Body” campaign, and they’ve enlisted a number of notable musicians to help spread the word.
The “Band Together” initiative has seen some extremely high-profile artists lend their clout to the campaign — Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, to name a few — with help coming from some big names in the metal and hard rock community, too. Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Pussy Riot and Portugal. The Man have all pledged their support for Planned Parenthood at a time when it’s needed more than ever before. Which begs the question: if SO MANY folks are behind these causes, why does our government continue to ignore the will of the people? Couldn’t have anything to do with a few hundred old white men thinking they know better than everyone else, certainly not.
