Fozzy’s “Nowhere to Run” Is Great, and I’m Not Just Saying That Because I’m Afraid of Chris Jericho
“Nowhere to Run,” the new song by Fozzy, is great. And I’m not just saying that because I’m afraid of frontman Chris Jericho.
No, the fact that Fozzy’s singer is a six-foot, 225-pound former Undisputed WWF Champion has nothing to do with why I’m praising the track’s terrific hook and expert musicianship.
I would commend Jericho for his wonderful, completely natural vocals even if he hadn’t defeated both The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
I have in no way, shape or form, allowed the fact that Jericho has made men bleed on television influence my opinion of his lyrics — that opinion, by the way, being that they are the least trite words ever strung together in the English language.
It is not because of my desire to maintain the use of my limbs that I instruct you to check out “Nowhere to Run,” from Fozzy’s forthcoming 2020, below. Nor is it simply to save my own neck that I share upcoming Fozzy tour dates at the bottom of this post.
No, dear readers. I do these things because I truly, sincerely, earnestly want to.
Really.
