Video: Bonnaroo Attendees Guess Metal Lyrics!

Whitney Moore is back for round two of MetalSucks coverage of this year’s Bonnaroo, held on the same site in Tennessee as the newly minted Exit 111 Festival (featuring Slayer, Guns N’ Roses, Ghost, Mastodon and more).

Our first video saw Bonnaroo attendees attempt to distinguish between metal subgenres such as black metal, djent and doom, and this time around we put their real skills to the test: can they understand the often difficult-to-decipher lyrics of songs by The Black Dahlia Murder, Rivers of Nihil, Allegaeon and more?

The answer, of course, is that they mostly cannot — like, not at all — but the fun comes in watching these normies stumble and seeing what their own hilarious lyrical interpretations are. Watch below!
