Stray from the Path Announce New Album, Release Single Featuring Counterparts Frontman
A month ago — almost to the date! — Stray from the Path released a new song called “Fortune Teller,” along with a promise that the band has “more new music on the way.” And “the way,” it turns out, is today!
The politically righteous (but never politically right!) quartet have announced that they’ll release a new album, Internal Atomics, on November 1 via UNFD. Based on the album art, it seems safe to assume that the band continues to be pissed about the current state of America (as we all should be):
The first single from the album, “Kickback” — which features guest vocals from Counterparts’ Brendan Murphy — is equally savage. SftP have really found a happy medium being being Rage Against the Machine lovers and Rage Against the Machine imitators, and the breakdown at the end is just siqqqqqqq. Listen:
You can pre-order Internal Atomics here.
On top of all of that, the band has announced a ton of new tour dates, which will take them all over the world with a variety of other notable acts, including The Devil Wears Prada and the aforementioned Counterparts. Those dates are as follows:
