“Raised and Erased”: The Number Twelve Looks Like You Release New Song and Video

I know everyone is all excited about the new Tool album, but don’t forget, there’s another great band releasing their first new album in for-ev-er soon, too: The Number Twelve Looks Like You! The mathcore masters’ heavily-anticipated reunion album, Wild Gods, comes out September 20th via Overlord Music, and all evidence thus far suggests it will not be a letdown.

Take, for example, the new single from the album, “Raised and Erased.” At various points, the characteristically-schizophrenic song sounds evil, creepy, jazzy, and wistful… and it’s all good. This band may actually have more talent in any given member’s pinky toe than most groups do in their entire line-up.

The Karen Jerzyk-directed video is pretty boss, too.
