Jam This New Alter Bridge Song, “Take the Crown”

Sometime in the coming weeks we’ll be releasing one of our patented videos, in which musicians watch fans covering their songs on YouTube, starring Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti. Myles and Mark independently participated in this series before, but both were promoting solo releases at the time and the covers we showed them spanned their entire respective catalogues (including Creed for Mark, and Slash and Mayfield Four for Myles). This time they’ll both be on camera together watching solely Alter Bridge covers! It’s already been shot, so expect to see it in this space soon.

In the meantime, here’s a new Alter Bridge cut called “Take the Crown” to tide you over, following “Pay No Mind” and “Wouldn’t You Rather” from the band’s forthcoming album Walk the Sky. It’s predictably great, because Alter Bridge are predictably great. But you knew that already because you’ve made it this far into a post about a band that most people dismiss outright because it feature three-quarters of Creed.
