Exhorder Keep Living Up to Expectations with New Song “Hallowed Sound”

Exhorder’s decision to make a new album for the first time in 27 years was a ballsy one. If the results sucked, the band would’ve ruined their legacy, which would’ve been a real bummer.

But based on the songs we’ve heard so far — first “It’s Time,” and now “Hallowed Sound,” — it sounds like Exhorder’s forthcoming reunion record, Mourn the Southern Skies, is going to be a creative win. Unless these two songs are somehow not exemplary of the rest of the album, add Exhorder to the list of bands who benefitted from a lengthy hiatus.
