“Korn” to “Play” a “Concert” Inside a Video Game

“Korn” will be “performing” a digital “concert” in the video games AdventureQuest 3D and AQ Worlds, The PRP reports. The “performance” is meant to celebrate “the grand opening of the Battle Concert Arena in the massively multiplayer games,” according to the games’ website. The band will “play” while users fight monsters and do whatever the hell else people do in these games. Among these “performances” will be a new song from the band’s forthcoming album, The Nothing, which comes out September 13.

The games also appear to be introducing some version of the rag doll from the cover of Issues:

If you’re interested, the “concert” begins on August 20, and you can get more details here. I don’t know why I’m being such a jerk about this. It’s not as though Korn aren’t dependent on a billion backing tracks to play live anyway.
