Video: Dude Covers Pantera’s “5 Minutes Alone” on Guns

The YouTube user known as ‘Gun Drummer’ has returned once again for a cover of an iconic metal song using automatic weapons, having previously fired off to Lamb of God’s “Laid to Rest” and Slipknot’s “Psychosocial.” On the shooting range this time is Pantera’s “5 Minutes Alone,” which is undoubtedly the most perfect match for this treatment yet.

I’m not sure how I feel about the glorification of gun use for these videos — I’m going to assume Mr. Gun Drummer has taken the necessary safety precautions — but the irony of firing guns to a song that was written by a guy who was shot to death is too much to handle, and I wonder whether it’s completely lost on this fella. Still, something tells me that if it were possible to tell post-mortem Dimebag of this video’s existence he’d probably be proud. Check it out below.
