KXM Release Video for Moody New Song “Struck by Lightning (Members of King’s X, Lynch Mob, Korn)

I could listen to Doug Pinnick all day every day for all of eternity. The guy’s voice is just magical! Sing me bedtime stories, Doug. Read me the menu at the local diner. Pull me over and tell me I’m getting a speeding ticket. I don’t care, just speak to me!

KXM, the outfit featuring Pinnick alongside George Lynch and Ray Luzier, have a new video for the song “Struck by Lightning,” and — MWAH! — it’s gorgeous. Aside from Pinnick’s voice, Lynch’s guitar here is really top notch — moody, atmospheric, Lynchian in a word — and Luzier’s drum craft is full of style and finesse (dude doesn’t get to properly show off his arsenal in Korn). KXM’s stuff over the years has been hit or miss for me, but this one is definitely on target.
