Portrayal of Guilt Release Chaotic New Single, “Moral Decay”
I don’t pay enough attention to my regional Texas music scene, but we’ve got a bunch of pretty cool bands taking off. Most notably are Power Trip, but there’s also Glassing, Sons of Texas, and veterans like The Sword and Immortal Guardian — a pretty little bunch making Texas proud.
The latest Lonestar band to make it onto my radar is Portrayal of Guilt, who pack a clusterfuck of various metal and punk subgenres such as hardcore, grindcore, and powerviolence into one chaotic, heavy ball via their newest single, “Moral Decay.” The track is sure to make you destroy a room within its short one and a half minute runtime.
The track comes off of Portrayal of Guilt’s upcoming EP, Suffering is a Gift, which is slated for release on August 30th via Closed Casket Activities and can be pre-ordered here. The band is currently touring with Harm’s Way, Jesus Piece, and Fuming Mouth starting later this week. Dates can be found below the embed.
